 This is the newest of the Georgia State Parks golf courses and soon may claim the reputation as the best. Willard C. Byrd, the architect, has achieved the look of a classic landscape oil painting. Lush green Tif 419 fairways contrast with the golden long Bahia rough leading to huge Tif 419 Dwarf Bermuda greens filled with subtle breaks. Gracious round traps dot the entire course lending additional definition to the setting. As you finish hole 10, climb to the top of the hill behind the green where two large pecan trees and an ancient pear tree grow and turn back toward the tee. You will be graced by one of the prettiest golf vistas in the country.
Pro Shop: Golf accessories, snack bar and group/individual lessons (with advance appointment).
Hours: 8:00 a.m. to dusk. Open year-round except Christmas Day.
Tee Times: Assignments are taken up to two weeks in advance for any day of the week. Large groups or guests with a golf package can make a tee time at any time.
Overnight Accommodations: 30 room lodge with restaurant and 5 cottages. Golf Packages are available.
- Current weekday fees reflect posted "Unlimited Play" fees.
- Each Golf Course has the option of allowing Junior rates to apply after 2:00 pm on weekends and holidays.
- The Senior rate applies to weekday play only.
